RE: 2010 Fairs
Hi FeeBee, I was thinking of going to one of these fairs as one is coming up soon in my area but was wondering what sort of things will be there and who attends these sorts of fairs? I might even bump into a distant relative! Thanks, GreyDoubt :-)

RE: 2010 Fairs
Hi GreyDoubt!
I usually see some of the "genealogy giants" there - S&N have a stand at most fairs I think, and sometimes TheGenealogist and Find My Past have stands too. I've also seen stands that have books, old postcards, and software. There's a wide variety of people there, they usually make a good day out! Some of the larger fairs have talks, too. The York fair that is coming up on 26th June has free talks (so says my e-mail newsletter from S&N!) So that should be a good one (if only it weren't so far away!) Hope this helps

RE: 2010 Fairs
Thanks FeeBee! It definately sounds like it is worth a visit, the talks also sound like they will be helpful. I might have to treat myself to a trip to London to visit the WDYTYA one next year. :-)
